    Reimagining the office cafeteria

    Farmstand was a B2B foodtech business that was the “Sweetgreen for office cafeterias.”

    Our mission was to improve human health by delivering ready-to-eat meals to office cafeterias that were food-as-medicine. www.eatfarmstand.com

    We also built an app for employees to pre-order, pay, and pick up build-your-own meals in their office cafeteria.

    The meals were based on what one of our co-founders started eating after being diagnosed with cancer.

    We raised $5M in venture capital and venture debt.

    We launched the business in 2016 and it was acquired in 2023.

    We signed meal distribution agreements with three of the largest food service providers - Compass Group, Aramark and ISS - and managed 11 Farmstand-branded concessions inside office cafeterias including the UK headquarters of JPMorgan, Barclays, BlackRock, Blackstone, and KPMG, and also signed a contract to launch in another 50 cafeterias.

    We also licensed 25 online-only storefronts operated by Deliveroo and UberEats.

    We were a Certified B Corp, which means we maintained the highest standards of climate and social impact.
