The Support Center for the Prevention of Healthcare-Associated Infections in Occitanie, called CPias Occitanie, is a public structure based on 2 sites: the University Hospitals of Toulouse and Montpellier. The CPIAS's mission is to implement national and regional policies for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections and to provide its expertise to institutions and professionals in its region. The Public Health Code sets three main missions for the CPias, namely: expertise and support for healthcare professionals, coordination or animation of networks and finally the investigation and monitoring of declarations.
