We are at the heart of the revolution that medicine is experiencing: the patient takes power, thanks to the democratization of access to information. For medicine to really become personalized, the doctor and the biologist must assume what they have always been: information specialists!
Information is a key to understanding and modeling living things, and acting on health.
We were among the first to understand it, which is why we are today nearly 300 people, gathered within the first CNRS unit installed for 30 years in the heart of a CHU. Our originality is not only to be able to solve problems, but to be able to pose them properly, because we live in osmosis with health professionals. We thus have the ability to innovate by being the first to offer approaches that benefit from the richness of our collective intelligence, fueled by very interdisciplinary scientific, medical and biological skills. We serve the patient by our industrialized innovations by more than 20 startups ... and we draw from clinical practice the inspiration of our basic research.

Nous sommes au cœur de la révolution que vit aujourd’hui la médecine : le patient prend le pouvoir, grâce à la démocratisation de l’accès à l’information. Pour que la médecine devienne vraiment personnalisée, le médecin et le biologiste doivent assumer ce qu’ils sont depuis toujours : des spécialistes de l’information !
L’information est une clé pour comprendre et modéliser le vivant, et agir sur la santé.
Nous avons été parmi les premiers à le comprendre, c’est pourquoi nous sommes aujourd’hui près de 300 personnes, rassemblées au sein de la première Unité du CNRS installée depuis 30 ans au cœur d’un CHU. Notre originalité n’est pas seulement de pouvoir résoudre des problèmes, mais de pouvoir les poser correctement, car nous vivons en osmose avec les professionnels de santé. Nous avons ainsi la capacité d’innover en étant les premiers à proposer des approches qui bénéficient de la richesse de notre intelligence collective, alimentée par des compétences scientifiques, médicales et biologiques très interdisciplinaires. Nous servons le patient par nos innovations industrialisées par plus de 20 startups ... et nous puisons dans la pratique clinique l’inspiration de nos recherches fondamentales.
