5 years, 5 months agoWe help young people find their route through education into employment, and provide employers access to future talent
We connect young people to a world of career possibilities, inspire them to dream big and empower them to fulfil their potential.
We want to equip young people with the experience and skills they will need to succeed in their career of choice, and enable businesses to recruit skilled workers locally. We bridge the gap between these two worlds and help them work together and achieve more.
We deliver the skills service for the Greater Cambridge Partnership, linking schools and businesses to build students’ careers awareness and employability skills and to promote apprenticeships. We also provide a mentoring programme, an impartial careers advice service, support work experience placements, and manage STEM outreach programmes, such as Cambridge LaunchPad.

Wishing you all a joyful and relaxing day filled with love, laughter, and plenty of cheer! ✨
As we reflect on the year, we’re so grateful for everyone who’s been part of our journey - students, educators, businesses, ambassadors, and supporters alike. Together, we’re shaping a brighter future, inspiring the next generation, and building pathways to success.
Here’s to more opportunities, growth, and collaboration in the New Year! 🎉
Stay cosy and enjoy the festivities! ☃️
What a start to the academic year we've had thanks to our amazing Ambassadors! 274 Ambassadors volunteered 1347 hours of their time, at 42 events with Cambridgeshire, Greater Peterborough and Suffolk students, between September and December.
We say it a lot but it's TRUE: we couldn't do what we do without them. The numbers are one thing, but when you relate that back to the impact one encounter can have with a single student, you start to see where their collective power really lies.
Meeting you (during what was previously just an average school day) has such power. That encounter can spark an aspiration or grow essential understanding around working in your field. It isn't only about the work a young person ends up doing, it's about their entire future trajectory.. so worth its weight in gold!
Best of all, we make it easy... whether you're a corporate with set goals to meet on ESG priorities or an individual looking for a hassle-free way of volunteering with real impact - we do the hard work with schools to make sure everything you need is in place.

As the Christmas break approaches, our Ambassador community has been busy inspiring students across Cambridgeshire and beyond in the final events before the end of 2024! 🎄✨
Here’s a recap of two of the last sessions we’ve delivered:
👷♀️ Northstowe Secondary College – What's My Line?
150 eager Year 7 students explored a diverse range of career paths through this engaging activity. Huge thanks to our inspiring ambassadors:
Betsy Wong – Chartered Surveyor
Tim Gent – Consultant
John Wilson – Wilsons of Cambridge
Richard DeNetto – Change the Race Ratio
💬 Coleridge Community College – Careers Carousel
120 Year 9 students gained invaluable insights into career opportunities, thanks to:
Jane Payling – Regional Finance Academy
Jamie Shackleton & Camilla Carter – Cambridge Regional College
Charlie Burrows – Citizens Advice
It’s always a joy to see students discovering new possibilities and learning from inspiring professionals. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined us to make these events memorable!

We've all had a blast at Form the Future's Annual Christmas get together! 🌲
It's always a pleasure to have the whole team in one place and celebrate the amazing work everyone's done over the past year.
This year we were challenged by David Brockway with finding a replacement for Father Christmas' retirement by creating CVs and covering letters for fiction characters. Characters included Mary Poppins, The Fairy God Mother, Hermione Granger, and Ellen Ripley (for the Alien franchise 😮).
Who do you think won? 🤔
Here's to a fantastic 2025 🎉
