    Brightank is an EPFL spin-off developing and commercializing a class of innovative catalysts to accelerate industrial decarbonization and enable the use of ammonia as a powerful liquid fuel.

    We take a pragmatic approach to the energy transition: use a liquid fuel with existing infrastructure and supply chain to deliver clean energy where it’s needed, without waiting for new pipelines or cryogenic tanks. Ammonia is produced at the megaton scale, is easy to store and ship, and thanks to our catalyst, it can be efficiently converted into hydrogen on site. This means lower investments, faster deployment, and real impact.

    Brightank is currently running multiple pilot projects with major industrial partners around the globe to scale our catalyst technology and accelerate market adoption.
