HIRING: Technical Animator

DRAMA Studios, is seeking an experienced Technical Animator to join our team in developing Unrecord, an innovative FPS that pushes the boundaries of realism and storytelling using Unreal Engine 5.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement thread-safe, optimized animation systems within Unreal Engine 5.
- Develop and maintain complex Animation Blueprints, including IK setups, animation layers, states machines, and procedural animations to achieve lifelike movements.
- Create efficient locomotion systems and realistic world interaction mechanics.
- Modify and enhance animation assets to meet technical and artistic requirements.
- Analyze human anatomy, body movements, deformations, and imperfections to create realistic animations.
- Work closely with the AI team to implement animations, transitions, procedural animations, and layers that align with NPCs behaviors, dialogues and interactions.
- Define, document, and advocate for technical animation processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5, particularly with Animation Blueprints and Blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Solid portfolio showcasing your technical animation skills and experience.

Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Motion Matching techniques.
- Familiarity with Motion Capture data and its integration into Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine's ragdoll physics, cloth and hair systems.
- Awareness of current and emerging animation technologies.
- Knows how to use Perforce.

This is a brief notification outlining the rationale behind our limited amount of public updates.

Our development team is working tirelessly on the game, and as it's a singleplayer adventure, we're cautious about not spoiling the experience prematurely. Furthermore, with the high level of attention our project is receiving, any new feature we develop is at risk of being replicated. It's flattering, in a way, to see elements of our vision being echoed in the industry, even if only in a superficial form.

However, we're introducing a lot more new innovative elements, which is why we've chosen to keep these developments under wraps for now. What we have publicly shown of the game is just a tiny part of what we are doing. Rest assured, the development is progressing smoothly, we're just opting to work more discreetly and focus on the quality of the game. But expect some big reveals this year.

We're aware of other games that may try to be similar to us, but we're focused on our unique vision and not in a race with others. Our silence doesn't mean inaction, rather, we're diligently working to bring something truly special to you. We can't wait to share it with you when it's ready.

Unrecord has not been released yet and is still under active development. There's no beta or early access available at this stage. Please be aware, any claims to the contrary are likely scams, viruses, or simply ripoffs. Stay vigilant and safe.

Remember, our goal isn't to rush the game for quick profit. Thank you for your patience.
