Created in 2009 under the leadership of Nicola Rapetti and Catherine Bouniol, Microterra is the precursor of composting on the farm in Occitania by creating the missing link in the valuation of green waste between local communities and agroindustrial plant organic waste and farmers.

Our innovative and structured composting sector on the farm responds in the long term both:

• The needs of farmers in organic quality of quality also usable in organic (standard NF U44-051) and biodynamics by a personalized study of their needs, long-term support and tailor-made training.

Créé en 2009 sous l’impulsion de Nicola RAPETTI et de Catherine BOUNIOL, MICROTERRA est le précurseur du compostage à la ferme en Occitanie en créant le chaînon manquant des filières de valorisation des déchets verts entre les collectivités locales et des déchets organiques végétaux agroindustriels et les agriculteurs.
Partageant des valeurs d’engagement et de respect des Hommes et de la Nature, nous avons pour ambition de créer durablement avec nos partenaires un sol vivant pour une agriculture biologique et locale.
Notre filière innovante et structurée de compostage à la ferme répond sur le long terme à la fois :
• Aux problématiques de gestion des déchets verts des collectivités locales et la valorisation en circuit court de cette ressource de matières organiques par le retour au sol.
• Aux besoins des agriculteurs en matière organique de qualité utilisable aussi en agriculture biologique (norme NF U44-051) et biodynamique par une étude personnalisée de leurs besoins, un accompagnement dans la durée et des formations sur-mesure.
• Aux enjeux environnementaux et de changement climatique : la matière organique issue de végétaux du territoire contribue à développer un modèle agroécologique qui limite les intrants chimiques, prévient les risques d’inondation et de sécheresse par sa capacité d’absorption, protège la ressource en eau par sa capacité de filtration des sols, fixe le carbone au sol pendant plusieurs décennies.
Membre co-fondateur du Réseau National Compost in Situ, notre activité s'étend également à la valorisation des biodéchets agroindustriels et de restauration (type SPA3), sous la forme innovante de compostage à la ferme.
