Martin Boiteau, 4th partner, joins the ship for a new architectural adventure heading for the Mediterranean: Nomade sud is born. The story doesn't end there. 2023, all hands on deck! Driven by its growing appetite for the conservation and enhancement of heritage, the group founded Nomade architecture & heritage. After years of traveling the globe, Laurent Delfour, heritage architect, puts down his suitcases and completes the team as 5th partner. At three, four and now five, the partners never stop talking about a "magical symbiosis". Over the years, the partners have shaped their balance. Show curiosity as much as move towards increasingly sober construction systems. Open up to innovative materials while promoting what can be recycled. Comme souvent au début d’une histoire, il y a un trio : Raphaël Chivot, Matthieu Laviolle et Vincent Le Garrec. Une rencontre sur les bancs de l’école fut capitale. Une traversée en mer, déterminante. De la camaraderie est ainsi née une amitié, puis une agence en 2001. Au gré des projets, ils s’entourent de complices de tous horizons. D’abord à Paris, puis Vannes. L’agence fait de tous programmes sa spécialité et de tous territoires sa géographie. Pour ce faire, Nomade mise sur la convivialité. Un flipper trouve logiquement son aise au cœur de l’agence et un babyfoot fait les belles heures de tournois improvisés. Super bumper, goal... et dilettantisme ? Professionnalisme ! Il s’agit de concevoir des projets avec le sérieux d’un enfant qui s’amuse. Voilà une ligne de conduite originale où le plaisir se fait le moteur d’une agence. 2019, cap sur la Gironde ! Martin Boiteau, 4e associé, rejoint le navire pour une nouvelle aventure architecturale en partance pour la Méditerranée : Nomade sud est née. L’histoire ne s’arrête pas là. 2023, tout le monde sur le pont ! Animé par son appétence grandissante pour la conservation et la valorisation du patrimoine, le groupe fonde Nomade architecture & patrimoine. Après des années à parcourir le globe, Laurent Delfour, architecte du patrimoine, pose ses valises et vient compléter l’équipe en tant que 5e associé. À trois, quatre et maintenant cinq, les associés n’ont de cesse d’évoquer une « symbiose magique ». Au gré des années, les associés ont façonné leur équilibre. Faire montre de curiosité autant que se diriger vers des systèmes constructifs de plus en plus sobres. S’ouvrir à des matériaux innovants tout en valorisant ce qui peut être recyclé. Au fond, être Nomade, c’est s’opposer à l’inertie : c’est savoir glisser au fil des mouvements.
