Alexia from Aseptuva had the pleasure to attend the SurgTech 2025 conference in Leeds last week. 🌱💡
As part of our invitation to the Innovation for Healthcare Net Zero Programme, we’ve officially kicked off the journey toward embedding sustainability into every step of our innovation process.
Together with Rich Shaw, Adam Peckham-Cooper and Pete Culmer, we began exploring how to maximise sustainability and carbon reduction potential in emerging health technologies. Mapping product life cycles and applying circularity principles sparked exciting ideas we’re eager to build on.
More to come as we continue this collaboration!
A big thank you to the teams at Accelerated Surgical Care HealthTech Research Centre, Pd-m, and Health Innovation Network for bringing this visionary programme to life. 🌍✨

🔹 Identifying and classifying user-related risks
🔹 Designing and running Human Factors Engineering experiments with real users
🔹 Engaging with key stakeholders—including patients, clinicians
🔹 Translating user feedback into actionable design improvements
🔹 Supporting the regulatory approval process of our Aseptuva system
At Aseptuva, we’re committed to building technologies that are not only effective but also intuitive and safe for everyday clinical use. With Sergio on board, we’re one step closer to making that vision a reality.

✨ Company Culture ✨
This week, Henry had the pleasure of speaking at a regional Culture Workshop hosted by Helsana Insurance Company Ltd at the beautiful Kloster Fischingen. The event focused on cultural themes such as communication, collaboration, and shared values within the company — a perfect match for what drives us at Aseptuva. 👩⚕️👨⚕️
The following insights were shared:
✨ The story behind Aseptuva and our international mission
🤝 Our connection with Helsana through the Swiss Startup Association partnership and Regula Bleuler
🚀 How we’re building a unified company culture across Europe and beyond
💡 What it takes to keep a global team motivated, aligned, and empowered to perform at their best
A big thank you to Ivan Nikolic and everyone at Helsana Insurance Company Ltd for the invitation and the warm welcome! 🙏

We had the pleasure to present the latest outcomes of our R&D activities at the East of England Medical Directors Forum organised by Health Innovation East. Our Healthcare Strategist Alexia Lamprakaki shared an overview of the recently held Patient Public Involvement activities and highlighted Aseptuva’s roadmap for ongoing and future projects 🚀📅.
It was very interesting to also hear from three other innovative healthcare companies : PocDoc, Little Journey and U Refer.
We thank Jag Ahluwalia for being an amazing host! 🎉👏

It was a pleasure to visit sitem-insel AG🏥 as part of the Innovate UK GBIP AMR cohort to showcase how Aseptuva has integrated end-user feedback 💬, previously obtained from several clinical experts at Inselspital Stiftung 🩺 via a Formative Usability Study, funded by Innosuisse 💡.
The very productive 🤝 UK-Swiss healthcare innovation ecosystem has greatly facilitated us in our current efforts to integrate our solutions with the NHS 🏥 care pathway.
Looking forward to continued collaboration and innovation! 🚀
