Created in 2008 at the initiative of the port of Marseille-Fos, French Ways of France and eight interior ports of the Rhône-Saône basin, Medlink Ports is an operational entity of port platforms working on the development of multimodal transport on the Rhône Saône Mediterranean axis.
Medlink Ports is at the service of professionals (chargers, transport organizers, logisticians, industrialists ...) in order to respond to multi-free transport and logistics requests as well as for duration support in the case of a need for logistics or industrial implementation.
This approach, innovative in Europe, is confirmed by the Constitution in a medlink ports association in 2015. It is now made up of permanent members:
8 multimodal ports of the Rhône Saône basin: Pagny, Chalon, Mâcon, Villefranche-sur-Saône, Lyon, Vienne Sud/Salaise-Sablons, Avignon/Le Pontet and Arles
2 sea ports: the large sea port of Marseille (GPMM) and the port of Sète (Port Sud de France)

Créé en 2008 à l’initiative du port de Marseille-Fos, Voies Navigable de France et de huit ports intérieurs du bassin Rhône-Saône, Medlink Ports est une entité opérationnelle de plateformes portuaires œuvrant au développement du transport multimodal sur l’axe Rhône Saône Méditerranée.
Medlink Ports est au service des professionnels (chargeurs, organisateurs de transport, logisticiens, industriels...) afin de répondre aux demandes de transport et logistique multi-segments et multi-filières ainsi que pour un accompagnement sur la durée dans le cas d’un besoin d’implantation logistique ou industrielle.
Cette démarche, novatrice en Europe, est confirmée par la constitution en association de Medlink Ports en 2015. Elle est aujourd’hui composée des membres permanents :
