Le PEP est le centre technique et d’innovation en plasturgie spécialisé dans les composites et l’injection des thermoplastiques. Il a été créé en 1989 par les industriels de la région Rhône-Alpes, avec le soutien de la Profession et des pouvoirs publics.
Le PEP a pour mission de proposer aux industriels de la filière Plasturgie des moyens, des expertises et des prestations à haute valeur ajoutée.
Le PEP décline des activités de R&D (projets collaboratifs ou contrats privés), de prestations (services aux entreprises) et de transfert industriel.
Ses compétences s’articulent autour de six domaines d’expertise principaux :
