    The Viti-Tunnel®, a single-row automated technical device that deploys a transparent waterproof film, during, and only during, rainy episodes 🌧️. This avoids contamination by rain-dependent diseases (mildew, black rot, excoriosis) which are the cause of 80% of treatments. The device is integrated into the general architecture already in place of the plot.

    Its interest is to:
    - Free itself from the use of pesticides and their negative impact on health, biodiversity and the environment 🌳
    - Offer winegrowers an alternative solution to manage so-called "sensitive" plots (ZNT, DSPPR...),
    - Ensure maximum protection against crop losses due to diseases and climatic accidents (frost ❄️, hail and climatic coulure).

    The Viti-Tunnel has been tested for 5 seasons (from 2019 to today) on a network of 10 properties in Gironde, thanks to a precise monitoring protocol (participation of the IFV). The results validate the proof of concept.

    After raising €2M from Demeter via its VitiRev Innovation fund, Viti-Tunnel is starting its industrial and commercial deployment.

    Le Viti-Tunnel®, un dispositif technique automatisé mono-rang qui déploie un film transparent imperméable, lors, et uniquement lors, des épisodes pluvieux 🌧️. On évite ainsi les contaminations par les maladies pluvio-dépendantes (mildiou, black-rot, excoriose) à l'origine de 80% des traitements. Le dispositif s’intègre à l’architecture générale déjà en place de la parcelle.

    Son intérêt est de :
    - S’affranchir de l’utilisation de pesticide et de leur impact négatif sur la santé, la biodiversité et l’environnement 🌳
    - Offrir aux viticulteurs une solution alternative pour gérer les parcelles dites « sensibles » (ZNT, DSPPR...),
    - Assurer une protection maximale contre les pertes de récoltes dues aux maladies et aux accidents climatiques (gel ❄️, grêle et coulure climatique).

    Le Viti-Tunnel est testé depuis 5 saisons (de 2019 à aujourd'hui) sur un réseau de 10 propriétés en Gironde, grâce à un protocole de suivi précis (participation de l’IFV). Les résultats valident la preuve de concept.

    Après une levée de fonds de 2M€ auprès de Demeter via son fonds VitiRev Innovation, Viti-Tunnel démarre son déploiement industriel et commercial.
