The CIAD (Distributed Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence) laboratory is a public research laboratory under the supervision of the University of Burgundy (uB) and the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM). Le laboratoire CIAD (Connaissance et Intelligence Artificielle Distribuées) est un laboratoire public de recherche sous la tutelle de l’Université de Bourgogne (uB) et de l’Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM). Il est constitué d’environ 70 personnes (Enseignants-Chercheurs, Doctorants, Ingénieurs, Post-Doctorants). Notre objectif est de concevoir des intelligences artificielles hybrides, distribuées et explicables. Notre activité est formée par deux parties. La première concerne la recherche sur des verrous scientifiques et la publication de nos approches dans des journaux et conférences internationaux du domaine. La seconde concerne le développement de preuves de concepts (jusqu'au niveau TRL 7) basé sur nos résultats de recherche, ainsi que l’accompagnement d’entreprises (de la start-up au grand groupe en passant par les PME) dans leur processus d’innovation technologique utilisant de l'IA.
