Created in 1973, the FNEHAD (National Federation of Hospital Training at Home) is the only hospital federation specifically dedicated to home hospitalization (HAD).

Créée en 1973, la FNEHAD (Fédération Nationale des Établissements d'Hospitalisation à Domicile) est la seule fédération hospitalière spécifiquement dédiée à l'Hospitalisation à domicile (HAD).
Elle regroupe plus de 250 établissements d'HAD installés sur le territoire métropolitain et ultra-marin, quel que soit leur statut juridique : public, privé non lucratif et privé lucratif. Ces structures ont réalisé, en 2020, plus de 90% des journées d'hospitalisation à domicile.
Le fonctionnement de la FNEHAD repose sur une délégation nationale permanente installée à Paris. Elle est chargée d'animer et de suivre tous les travaux menés au niveau national, afin de représenter les intérêts de ses adhérents et de promouvoir l'identité et le rôle de l'HAD.
La fédération a aussi pour fonction de développer des services auprès de ses adhérents : appui méthodologique, juridique, technique, offre de formation continue, organisation de manifestations nationales...
L'action de la FNEHAD repose également sur celle des Délégués régionaux, interlocuteurs privilégiés sur les sujets de l'HAD auprès des directeurs généraux des Agences Régionales de Santé. Ils assurent en région la promotion de l'HAD, la représentation de la fédération auprès des pouvoirs publics régionaux et locaux, le relais relais régional de la FNEHAD, ainsi que la coordination au plan local des actions initiées au niveau national.
