    Sustainable Development in Belgium

The Federal Institute for Sustainable Development is a small and dynamic government department. FISD is a centre of expertise for sustainable development in Belgium. Government departments and organisations outside the government knock on our door for advice on corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, sustainable public procurement, sustainable events and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We develop policies around these themes and then realise them in projects inside and outside government.

FISD is organisationally under the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
