Vera was founded in Denizli in 2004 by 4 high school friends. The songs, which were recorded in a small rehearsal studio during high school and distributed on the internet, were followed by university and bar concerts, demo recordings and eventually the Be 'The Band' Music Competition. With the competition organized by Babajim Studios in 2011, the group found itself in the national press for the first time.
Their self-titled first EP 'Vera' was released in 2012. The band, which draws attention with its wink to a different genre with each new song, has managed to evolve from a standard rock band to a modern music band over the years.
Vera, who made a name for herself with hit songs such as Mutluluk Reklamı, Sakılır Nisan and Davetsiz, rose to the first place in the Turkish Rock lists twice in a row with Deniz Kabukları and Sonsuza Kadar, which she released in 2020.
The last piece of the five-piece concept series that the group started with Cam Kenarı (2021), in a way the "season finale", Sıradan Yaralar, was released on September 2 by Doğan Music Production label.

Vera, 2004 yılında 4 lise arkadaşı tarafından Denizli’de kuruldu. Lise yıllarında küçük bir prova stüdyosunda kaydedilen ve internete dağılan şarkıları üniversite ve bar konserleri, demo kayıtlar ve nihayetinde Be ‘The Band’ Müzik Yarışması izledi. 2011 yılında Babajim Stüdyoları’nın düzenlediği yarışma ile grup, ilk kez ulusal basında kendine yer buldu.
2012’de kendi adlarını taşıyan ilk EP ‘Vera’ yayınlandı. Brit Rock temelli bu albüm ile müzik yolculuğundaki ilk dönüm noktasını yaşayan grup, bugüne kadar 3 stüdyo albümü, 1 EP ve pek çok single yayınladı. Her yeni şarkısında farklı bir janra göz kırpmasıyla da dikkat geçen grup, yıllar içinde standart bir rock grubundan modern bir müzik grubuna evrilmeyi başardı.
Mutluluk Reklamı, Saklanır Nisan ve Davetsiz gibi hit parçalarla adından söz ettiren Vera, 2020’de yayınladığı Deniz Kabukları ve Sonsuza Kadar ile Türkçe Rock listelerinde peş peşe iki defa ilk sıraya yükseldi.
Grubun Cam Kenarı (2021) ile başladığı beş parçalık konsept serinin son parçası, bir bakıma “sezon finali” Sıradan Yaralar, 2 Eylül’de Doğan Müzik Yapım etiketiyle yayınlandı.
Vera, 2023 sonu yayınlanması planlanan yeni albümü “İkinci Baskı”nın kayıtlarına devam ediyor.
