First private rolling mill in Tunisia, SIDENOR now reached a production capacity of 200,000 tons / year.

SIDENOR is a leading producer of rebars (also called concrete iron) and wire rod in Tunisia.
SIDENOR was founded in 1993 to meet the growing demand for steel products used in the building industry and construction and support infrastructure in Tunisia.
Located at Bir Mcherga (Zaghouan) 40 km south-east of Tunis, SIDENOR, the first private rolling mill in Tunisia, today reached a production capacity of 200,000 tons / year of rebars and wire rod .
SIDENOR is constantly developing for over 20 years technical and operational expertise that positions the key player in the Tunisian market for steel and rolling with the most complete line of long products meeting the requirements of Tunisian and international industry standards .
The distinctive features of SIDENOR can be summarized in its commitment to the smallest details of the entire production process from procurement of raw materials, manufacturing of its products and to after-sales service.
SIDENOR has undergone significant modernization and upgrade work to develop its competitiveness and profitability. Factory facilities include a reheating furnace with a capacity of 45 tons / hour, a lamination line of reinforcing bars and a lamination line of wire rod (reel).
