HISTORY – CCT Energy Storage is a research, development and design company based in Adelaide, South Australia. The company was established in 2011 to develop a thermal battery for the global renewable energy market. The exciting potential for the technology led to the creation of Climate Change Technologies Pty Ltd in 2011. The first working scale prototype was produced in 2012 and further enhanced at the South Australian workshop in 2014. Prototype development is continuing, in preparation for commercial production in 2019.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS – CCT Energy Storage’s operations are based at Lonsdale, South Australia where prototype design, construction and assembly and testing are performed. The company markets the technology to government and private industry in Australia and overseas. The proposed model for selling the technology is through the issue of licence agreements for manufacturing and distribution Joint Venture companies. CCT Energy Storage is seeking partnerships with Australian and overseas businesses to manufacture and market the technology and to develop tailored solutions for local applications.

OWNERSHIP - Climate Change Technologies Pty Ltd trading as CCT Energy Storage is a privately owned South Australian company, with shareholders actively involved in research, design and operations.
