FREDsense is a Calgary-based water company looking to solve one of the largest challenges in water today - PFAS. We build portable tools to measure PFAS in real-time and offer analytical testing services for various forms of the compounds. Our lead product - the Field Ready Electrochemical Detector (FRED) - consists of a genetically engineered bacterium tuned to sense various contaminants. The system is portable, autonomous, and connected, providing users with continuous water quality measurements.
