Le Centre technique interprofessionnel des fruits et légumes est l’organisme de recherche et de développement au service des métiers de la filière fruits et légumes, de la production à la distribution. Les missions du CTIFL sont d’améliorer les performances, la compétitivité des acteurs de la filière, et de contribuer à accroître la consommation des fruits et légumes. Le CTIFL mène des programmes d’expérimentation et de recherche, des démarches d’innovation, d’analyse économique et de veille réglementaire, de formation et de diffusion de l’information auprès des professionnels.
Inscrit dans des projets nationaux et européens, le CTIFL développe des partenariats étroits avec les organismes de recherche et de développement, l’enseignement, les familles professionnelles et l’interprofession de la filière fruits et légumes.
Reconnu autorité compétente, le CTIFL est en charge du contrôle et de la certification des matériels de multiplication fruitiers hors plants de fraisiers. Situés au coeur des principales régions françaises de production de fruits et légumes, les centres du CTIFL, en partenariat ou en association avec les stations régionales d’expérimentation, constituent un réseau d’expérimentation unique en Europe.
