Ekwateur has been offering 100% renewable electricity, gas and wood to all individuals and all types of professionals in France since September 2016.
Founded by Julien Tchernia and Jonathan Martelli, ekWateur was built on the vision of a decentralized, renewable and transparent energy market. If the energy transition is a subject that is essential in the public debate, the choice of one's own energy remains obscure. ekWateur is the desire to make energy transparent, specifically renewable energy, and to give citizens the choice, through an agile and innovative structure.
We are a start-up of 100 super motivated geeks who love renewable energies, united around the following values:

Our goal is to make the choice of energy accessible, simple and transparent. Our actions aim to ensure that everyone has their own energy transition at the end of their click.
100% renewable energy is our foundation. Our electricity and gas are certified by Guarantees of Origin, and the wood comes from residues from French sawmills, with wood coming from eco-managed forests.
On this basis, we have developed all our services using the latest development technologies, and in collaboration with our group of volunteer and passionate Beta testers.
In just over 5 years, we have acquired 300,000 meters, both private and professional, spread across the entire metropolis. ekWateur is the 5th energy supplier and the 1st 100% renewable and independent energy supplier.

Ekwateur propose de l’électricité, du gaz et du bois 100% renouvelable, à tous les particuliers et tous types de professionnels de France depuis septembre 2016.
Fondé par Julien Tchernia et Jonathan Martelli, ekWateur s’est construit sur la vision d’un marché de l’énergie décentralisé, renouvelable et transparent. Si la transition énergétique est un sujet qui s’impose dans le débat public, le choix de sa propre énergie reste obscur. ekWateur, c’est la volonté de rendre transparent l’énergie, spécifiquement l’énergie renouvelable, et de donner le choix aux citoyens, à travers une structure agile et innovante.

Notre objectif est de rendre le choix de l’énergie accessible, simple et transparent. Nos actions ont pour objectif que chacun ait sa propre transition énergétique au bout de son clic.
L’énergie 100% renouvelable est notre socle. Notre électricité et notre gaz sont certifiés par des garanties d’Origine, et le bois est issu de résidus de scieries françaises, avec du bois en provenance de forêts éco-gérées.
Sur cette base-là, nous avons développé tous nos services en utilisant les dernières technologies de développement, et en collaboration avec notre groupe de Beta-testeurs bénévoles et passionnés.
En un peu plus de 5 ans, nous avons acquis 300 000 compteurs, particuliers et professionnels, répartis sur toute la métropole. ekWateur est le 5ème fournisseur d'énergie et le 1er fournisseur d'énergie 100% renouvelable et indépendant.
