La recherche scientifique a permis d’identifier les lésions responsables de la maladie et de comprendre la manière dont elles évoluent.
L’enjeu mondial est désormais de disposer de diagnostics fiables et de mettre au point des traitements efficaces.
Seule la recherche permettra d’atteindre cet objectif.
L'action de la Fondation vise à mobiliser tous les acteurs de la société : chercheurs, associations, familles de patients, individus...afin de vaincre la maladie dans un futur proche.
