Since 1957, AFT has been the French organization for the development of professional transport and logistics training.
Among our missions:
- Provide educational support, technical and partly financial support to more than 200 vocational high schools, 25 IUTs and around ten Universities which provide training for Transport-Logistics diplomas,
- Co-finance certain initial training courses for freight or passenger drivers as well as apprentice training centers and Transport Logistics higher education schools

Present in the 21 economic regions of mainland France, the AFT exercises its public service missions through its regional delegates to the profession and institutions, who also exercise the function of employment and training advisor ( CREF) of companies in the region.

- Apporter un appui pédagogique, un soutien technique et en partie financier à plus de 200 lycées professionnels, 25 IUT et une dizaine d’Universités qui forment à des diplômes Transport-Logistique,
- Cofinancer certaines formations initiales de conducteur de marchandises ou voyageurs ainsi que les centres de formations d’Apprentis et les écoles supérieures Transport Logistique
- Orienter et informer les élèves et leur famille, les enseignants, les demandeurs d’emploi, les salariés et les entreprises.
Présente dans les 21 régions économiques de la France métropolitaine, l’AFT exerce ses missions de service public au travers de ses Délégués régionaux auprès de la profession et des institutions, qui exercent par ailleurs la fonction de Conseiller à l’emploi et en formation (CREF) des entreprises de la région.
