La Fondazione Francesca Rava – NPH Italia ETS aiuta l’infanzia e l’adolescenza in condizioni di disagio, le mamme e le donne fragili in Italia, in Haiti e nel mondo. Interviene in prima linea in modo tempestivo e concreto nelle emergenze che colpiscono i bambini e le loro famiglie. Contribuisce al raggiungimento dei Sustainable Development Goals dell’Agenda 2030 delle Nazioni Unite (UNSDG).
Rappresenta in Italia NPH - Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (I Nostri Piccoli Fratelli), che dal 1954 salva e da un futuro nelle sue Case, scuole e ospedali in nove paesi dell’America Latina, ai bambini orfani, abbandonati o in disperato bisogno. Rappresenta, inoltre, la Fondazione St. Luc di Haiti. È particolarmente impegnata nella poverissima Haiti dove, ogni ora, 2 bambini muoiono per malnutrizione e malattie curabili, 1 bambino su 4 non va a scuola.
In Italia è in prima linea con progetti concreti, in risposta alla povertà sanitaria ed educativa. Con In Farmacia per i bambini aiuta 47.000 bambini in povertà sanitaria; contrasta l’abbandono neonatale e l’infanticidio con il progetto nazionale ninna ho, realizzato insieme al Network KPMG; sostiene con progetti medici ed educativi i bambini di oltre 884 case famiglia, comunità per minori, enti che aiutano le famiglie in difficoltà. Nel Centro Italia colpito dal terremoto del 2016, ha realizzato 8 scuole. Con il progetto SOS Spesa – La Spesa per chi ha bisogno ha aiutato oltre 55.000 persone tra case famiglia e comunità per minori, famiglie e anziani soli e in povertà. Nell’emergenza Covid-19 la Fondazione ha supportato 30 ospedali in 11 Regioni con invio di volontari sanitari specializzati e attrezzature altamente sofisticate. Nell’emergenza Ucraina la Fondazione si è rapidamente attivata su due fronti: nell’invio di aiuti sanitari agli ospedali e alla prima linea e nell’accoglienza e inclusione sociale e lavorativa delle famiglie profughe.
