    1KOMMA5° was founded in the summer of 2021 with the aim of making buildings completely CO2 neutral through the use of photovoltaics, heat pumps and charging infrastructure on the one hand and through networking with the electricity exchange on the other in order to follow the particularly favorable price signals from sun and wind.

    This is implemented through the intelligent energy management “Heartbeat” and the dynamic electricity tariff “Dynamic Pulse”, so 1KOMMA5° always guarantees customers the cheapest and cleanest electricity from sun and wind.

    In order to secure skilled workers, 1KOMMA5° also participates in particularly innovative craft businesses in the areas of photovoltaics, electricity storage, charging infrastructure and heat pumps, on the one hand to strengthen regional trade and on the other hand to enable high-quality advice and installation at the customer's site. 1KOMMA5° currently operates over 75 locations with around 2,000 employees from Europe to Australia.

    In addition, 1KOMMA5° works on the networking and control of decentralized generation systems, with the aim of fully realizing and constantly optimizing the potential of the decentralized energy transition. For this purpose, all installed systems become part of a networked IoT platform, which uses algorithms to guarantee optimal, automatic operational management over the life of the system. Over 200 developers work at the Technology Center in Berlin alone to support additional functions and new market launches as well as expanding compatibility.

    Umgesetzt wird dies durch das intelligente Energiemanagement "Heartbeat" und den dynamischen Stromtarif "Dynamic Pulse" so garantiert 1KOMMA5° Kundinnen und Kunden immer den günstigsten und saubersten Strom aus Sonne und Wind.

    Weiterhin beteiligt sich 1KOMMA5° zu Sicherung von Fachkräften auch an besonders innovativen Handwerksbetrieben aus den Bereichen Photovoltaik, Stromspeicher, Ladeinfrastruktur und Wärmepumpe, um einerseits das regionale Handwerk zu stärken und andererseits eine hochwertige Beratung und Installation beim Kunden vor Ort zu ermöglichen. Zurzeit betreibt 1KOMMA5° über 75 Standorte mit rund 2.000 Mitarbeitenden von Europa bis Australien.

    Zusätzlich arbeitet 1KOMMA5° an der Vernetzung und Steuerung dezentraler Erzeugungsanlagen, mit dem Ziel, das Potenzial der dezentralen Energiewende vollständig zu realisieren und ständig zu optimieren. Hierzu werden alle installierten Systeme Teil einer vernetzten IoT-Plattform, die durch Einsatz von Algorithmen die optimale, automatische Betriebsführung über die Lebenszeit des Systems garantiert. Über 200 Entwicklerinnen und Entwickler arbeiten allein am Technologie Zentrum in Berlin um weitere Funktionen und neue Markteinführungen sowie eine Ausweitung der Kompatibilität zu unterstützen.
