Founded in 1996 by Geographical Information Systems specialists from Aeronautical background, CGX AERO is a team of experienced experts in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), Airport Services, Geodesic calculations, preparation of airborne missions, Flight Procedure Design studies (CONV, RNAV-RNP-APV), from ground survey to PBN implementation), Aeronautical Charting (incl. AIP) and support policy. CGX AERO also proposes trainings to acquire the basic knowledge related to procedure design and for the tools management of our softwares.
Member of the French Aerospace Valley (Toulouse/Bordeaux), CGX AERO has built up unique partnerships with ENAC (the French Civil Aviation Academy), Airbus and its PBN subsidiary Quovadis, THALES and ESRI. CGX AERO is a Gold Level Business Partner with ESRI, the Geographic Information System world leader.
Financially strong Joint Venture based on a workforce of 40, with its subsidiary – CAT’Sud – specialized in Airport Management, CGX AERO operates in more than 35 countries (airports, airlines, civil and military aviations).
In 2012, CGx AERO in SYS and CAT'Sud merge under the name CGX AERO.
