Fédération Promotion Santé est une association loi 1901 créée en 2002. Elle est composé d'association régionales "Promotion Santé" adhérentes et d’une structure nationale, le siège de la Fédération.
Fédération Promotion Santé regroupe plus de 600 professionnels issus de champs disciplinaires multiples (santé publique, sciences humaines et sociales, sciences de l’éducation...) et de nombreux administrateurs bénévoles. Ces professionnels interviennent quotidiennement à tous les niveaux territoriaux (du quartier à la région), dans tous les milieux de vie (écoles, entreprises, hôpitaux, prisons, établissements médicosociaux...) en privilégiant une approche populationnelle (petite enfance, adolescence, personnes âgées ou en situation de handicap, publics vulnérables...).
