The ITA-STQB association (ITAlian Software Testing Qualifications Board) was founded in 2007 with the aim of applying in Italy the certification of skills in the field of Software Engineering topics, such as Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, Software Testing and Mobile Application Testing, in accordance with the international procedures defined by the reference schemes, such as ISTQB®, IREB®, IQBBA® and CMAP©.
The mission of ITA-STQB includes the following aspects:
Carry out the certification of ICT professionals in the field of software engineering topics in Italy, such as business analysis, requirements engineering and testing, in accordance with the rules of the international reference institutes, namely IQBBA®, IREB®, ISTQB®, TMMi® and CMAP©;
Translate the syllabi into Italian;
Accredit providers of training events aligned with the ISTQB® and IQBBA® syllabi;
Actively contribute to the evolution of international reference schemes;
Stimulate interest in Italy on SW Engineering topics through the organization of specific conferences and events;
Promote the exchange of skills on Software Engineering topics.

La certificazione delle competenze nel Software Engineering in Italia
L'associazione ITA-STQB (ITAlian Software Testing Qualifications Board) nasce nel 2007 con l'obiettivo di applicare in Italia la certificazione delle competenze nell'ambito delle tematiche di Software Engineering, quali Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, Software Testing e Testing di Mobile Application, in conformità con le procedure internazionali definite dagli schemi di riferimento, quali ISTQB®, IREB®, IQBBA®e CMAP©.
La missione di ITA-STQB comprende i seguenti aspetti:
Effettuare la certificazione di professionisti ICT nell'ambito delle tematiche di software engineering in Italia, quali business analysis, requirements engineering e testing, in accordo con le regole degli istituti internazionali di riferimento ossia IQBBA®, IREB®, ISTQB®, TMMi® e CMAP©;
Tradurre i syllabi in lingua italiana;
Accreditare fornitori di eventi formativi allineati ai syllabi ISTQB® e IQBBA®;
Contribuire attivamente all'evoluzione degli schemi internazionali di riferimento;
Stimolare l'interesse in Italia sulle tematiche del SW Engineering attraverso l'organizzazione di conferenze ed eventi specifici;
Favorire l'interscambio di competenze sulle tematiche del Software Engineering.
