The CTP is the only Approved Research Center (CRA) in Belgium dedicated to “Mineral Processing”.
With more than 20 years of expertise in the field, the CTP offers a wide range of expertise and analyzes to companies that explore and develop natural mining deposits but also to companies that transform and recycle industrial and post waste. -urban consumption (“Urban Mining”).

CTP's expertise includes Research and Development, Studies and Tests for our clients, Expertise (characterization of ores, study of deposits, etc.) and finally laboratory analyzes and characterizations. .
The CTP “pilot” platform (IMPRoVE) is unique in Belgium in terms of its size (> 7,000 m2) and the range of equipment present. In combination with "laboratory" size equipment (concept of "up-scaling"), it allows the manufacturer to be quickly offered a factory layout, and an estimate of CAPEX (investment expenditure) and OPEX (operating expenses) of unit operations.

Le CTP est l'unique Centre de Recherche Agréé (CRA) en Belgique dédié au « Mineral Processing ».
Fort d’une expertise de plus de 20 ans dans le domaine, le CTP offre une vaste gamme d’expertises et d’analyses aux entreprises qui explorent et développent les gisements miniers naturels mais également aux entreprises qui transforment et recyclent les déchets industriels et post-consommation urbaine ("Urban Mining").
Son expertise couvre non seulement le traitement de ces « gisements », mais également et surtout la valorisation vers la voie « matériau », à forte valeur ajoutée. De nouvelles matières premières « secondaires » et/ou de nouveaux matériaux sont ainsi créés au CTP à partir de ces sous-produits.
L’expertise du CTP se décline en travaux de Recherche et Développement, d’Etudes et d’Essais pour nos clients, d’Expertise (caractérisation de minerais, étude de gisements, ...) et enfin d’analyses et caractérisations en laboratoire.
La plateforme "pilote" du CTP (IMPRoVE) est unique en Belgique quant à sa taille (> 7.000 m2) et la panoplie d’équipements présents. En combinaison avec les équipements de taille "laboratoire" (notion de "up-scaling"), elle permet assez rapidement de proposer à l’industriel un schéma d’usine, et une estimation des CAPEX (dépenses d’investissement) et OPEX (dépenses d’exploitation) des opérations unitaires.
