Le centre E.Leclerc fut crée en 1987 sur la commune d’Echirolles et de Seyssins, au sud de Grenoble, la capitale des Alpes. Il y avait alors une surface de vente de 5600m2. Deux agrandissements, en 1990 et en 2001 font du E.Leclerc Comboire le plus grand hypermarché de l’agglomération grenobloise avec ses 12 500m2.
Depuis août 2017, Olivier et Catherine Trichet sont les nouveaux adhérents E.Leclerc de l'hypermarché.
L'année 2023 est l'année du projet qui anime les équipes : c'est le remodeling de la totalité de l'hypermarché, surface de vente et laboratoires compris.
