    A bustling Cleantech Community is encouraged and facilitated in the park by a wide range of facilities. From restaurant De Waard and the own technical service to Bootcamp and an electric shared car for IPKWs. Meeting and knowledge sharing are always central here. Events, meetings and product launches at the park are regularly facilitated and organized. For example, we work together in a special place, which is bursting with history, on the energy campus of the future.

    Industriepark Kleefse Waard is een werklocatie van circa 90 hectare groot dat duurzame energie-gerelateerde bedrijven huisvest, faciliteert en met elkaar verbindt. Samen met de overheid, het onderwijs en het bedrijfsleven wordt gewerkt aan de cleantech campus van de toekomst.

    Duurzaamheid zit van oudsher in onze vezels. Als voormalig terrein van de AKU (Algemene Kunstzijde Unie) en later AkzoNobel, wordt duurzaamheid op verschillende manieren uitgedragen. Enerzijds de thematiek van de partijen die zich hier vestigen (de huurders) en anderzijds hoe de plek zelf wordt ingericht. Met de soort bedrijven, de bebouwde omgeving en de programmering – waarbij Industriepark Kleefse Waard op het gebied van energie, afval, gebouwen, mobiliteit en mensen invulling geeft aan de circulaire economie – is de ambitie om in 2025 het meest duurzame bedrijventerrein van Nederland te zijn.

    Industriepark Kleefse Waard richt zich specifiek op bedrijven in de Energie- en Milieutechnologie (EMT), ook wel cleantech genoemd. De huurders ontwikkelen en innoveren voor een schonere toekomst, in een omgeving die zowel vanuit bedrijfseconomisch perspectief als vanuit sociaal ondernemerschap interessant is.

    Een bruisende cleantech community wordt op het park aangemoedigd en gefaciliteerd door een breed scala aan faciliteiten. Van restaurant De Waard en de eigen technische dienst tot bootcamp en een elektrische deelauto voor IPKW’ers. Ontmoeting en kennisdeling staan hierbij altijd centraal. Met grote regelmaat worden evenementen, bijeenkomsten en productlanceringen op het park gefaciliteerd en georganiseerd. Zo werken we met elkaar op een bijzondere plek, die barst van de historie, aan de energiecampus van de toekomst.
