The Silk Road revitalized the exchange of culture, knowledge, skills, and goods & services among nations — it was a significant factor in the development of the great civilizations of China, India, Egypt, Persia, Arabia, and Rome, and in several respects helped lay the foundations for the modern world. Therefore, we want to help every organization build that Silk Road to jumpstart the community they serve to make a difference around the world.
