Founded in 1998, WaterPower Canada (WPC) is the national, not-for-profit trade association dedicated to representing the waterpower industry. Its many members span the breadth of the sector and include hydropower producers, manufacturers, developers, engineering firms and other organizations. WaterPower Canada members represent more than 95% of the waterpower installed capacity in Canada, advocating for the responsible development and use of waterpower to meet our present and future electricity needs in a sustainable manner.

Fondée en 1998, Hydroélectricité Canada (HC) est l’association industrielle nationale sans but lucratif dont la mission est de représenter l’industrie hydroélectrique. Ses nombreux membres proviennent de tous les secteurs de cette industrie : producteurs d’électricité, fabricants, promoteurs, firmes d’ingénierie, sociétés de conseil, etc. Ensemble, les membres d’Hydroélectricité Canada représentent plus de 95 % de la puissance hydroélectrique installée au Canada. Ils prônent la mise en valeur et l’utilisation responsables de l’hydroélectricité afin de répondre de façon viable aux besoins énergétiques présents et futurs du Canada.
