Urby propose aux transporteurs de déposer les marchandises qu’ils souhaitent livrer en centre–ville et d’en assurer la livraison finale en limitant l’impact sur l’environnement. En mutualisant les livraisons, intégralement effectuées par des véhicules à faible émission (électriques ou roulant au gaz naturel pour véhicule) ou en mode doux (à vélo ou à pied), le centre de mutualisation et de distribution en périphérie de ville évite l’entrée de camions à moitié pleins dans la ville et réduit le nombre de véhicules de livraison en optimisant leur chargement.
Les artisans et commerçants peuvent s’appuyer sur le réseau Urby pour externaliser tout ou partie de leur stock, assurer la livraison d’un chantier, point de vente ou d’un particulier.
