Faire les premiers Jeux durables, inclusifs et solidaires en 2024 est un engagement fort pris par la candidature de Paris. Pour réussir ce défi, Paris 2024 et la Société de livraison des équipements olympiques (SOLIDEO) se sont associés au Yunus Centre et aux Canaux pour développer ESS 2024, passerelle entre les organisateurs du plus grand évènement sportif du siècle, les territoires et le monde foisonnant de l’économie solidaire et de l’entrepreneuriat social.
ESS 2024 est un outil opérationnel, ayant pour vocation d’informer, d’animer et d’accompagner les acteurs de l’ESS et les entrepreneurs engagés pour qu’ils soient au coeur de l’organisation des Jeux et puissent directement bénéficier des opportunités économiques liées : veille stratégique sur les marchés (7 milliards d'euros d'ici 2024), aide aux montages avec des grands groupes en préparation de la réponse aux marchés, évaluation de l'impact social produit, rayonnement à l'international des réussites françaises exemplaires, etc.
Dans le même temps, elle a vocation à sensibiliser le comité d'organisation Paris 2024 et les maître d’ouvrage olympiques sur les solutions d'excellence environnementale et d'innovation sociale portées par des acteurs de l'ESS pour faire rayonner les pratique les plus écologiques et solidaires.
