ENOSIS développe et commercialise des équipements qui permettent de recycler le CO2 et de produire du gaz renouvelable, substituable au gaz naturel dans toutes ses applications : mobilité, production de chaleur, d’électricité, industrie. Le gaz renouvelable peut être consommé sur place, ou injecté et stocké dans les réseaux de gaz pour être consommé ailleurs, plus tard.
Le CO2 peut provenir de gaz issus de la transformation de déchets (biogaz, syngas) ou être capté dans les fumées de cheminée.
Pour convertir le CO2, ENOSIS développe une technologie biologique innovante à base de micro-organismes : la biométhanation.
Les équipements développés par ENOSIS peuvent également servir de passerelle entre le réseau électrique et le réseau de gaz. Ils apportent alors des services au réseau électrique (équilibrage des réseaux, stockage de l'électricité) et constituent une brique des réseaux d’énergie intelligents (on parle d’architecture Power-to-Gas).
