Each person counts, the ambition is to federate 5% of the population, the threshold necessary to raise awareness, this means 3.5 million people.
For the 1st edition in 2018, 200,000 people.
For the 2nd edition in 2019, 265,000 people.
For the 3rd edition in 2020, 139,000 masked people.
For the 4th edition in 2021, 158,000 masked people.

Depuis 2018, les citoyens du monde unissent leurs forces ramasser le maximum de déchets oubliés dans la nature.
En 2024, des millions de citoyens se sont mobilisés dans plus de 190 pays... Un record ! Combien serons-nous en 2025 ?
L'association World Cleanup Day France a pour mission de promouvoir le programme en métropole et dans les territoires d'outre-mer, en mobilisant les citoyens, les écoles, les entreprises, les collectivités et les associations.
Elle créée les outils pour rendre l'opération possible et faciliter son organisation par chaque citoyen.
Le World Cleanup Day appartient à tout le monde. C'est comme une fête des voisins sans les déchets, l'occasion de rencontrer les personnes près de chez soi, d'agir ensemble. Il s'agit d'un grand mouvement de solidarité pour faire du bien à la planète et agir concrètement et simplement.
C'est un 1er pas pour prendre conscience des modes de consommation, de production. Le World Cleanup Day permet de fédérer tous les acteurs d'un territoire et rend possible un échange qui peut se poursuivre au-delà pour #mieuxconsommer #mieuxproduire #moinsjeter, et proposer des solutions partout dans les territoires.
