The Regional Chamber of the Social and Solidarity Economy brings together ESS companies and networks in the Grand Est in all areas of activity. It is the voice of the ESS at the regional level and pursues the objective of supporting, developing and promoting the Social and Solidarity Economy. She is the preferred contact for communities committed to the development of the ESS in the territories.
It brings together associations, cooperatives, mutual societies, foundations and commercial enterprises of the ESS: all structures which choose to undertake business by integrating into their operation the principles of democracy, limited profit-making, sharing and solidarity.
CRESS represents and drives the ESS in the Grand Est, supports territorial dynamics, facilitates multi-actor cooperation, supports the creation and development of projects, develops socially and environmentally responsible purchasing, facilitates access to public procurement, raises young people's awareness of the ESS, produces key figures and indicators to better understand the ESS, deploys a European dimension of the ESS through Europe ESS Clubs and contributes to making the Social and Solidarity Economy visible.

L'Economie Sociale et Solidaire, une économie qui a du sens
La Chambre Régionale de l' Economie Sociale et Solidaire regroupe les entreprises et les réseaux de l'ESS en Grand Est dans tous les domaines d'activité. Elle est la voix de l'ESS au niveau régional et poursuit l'objectif d'accompagner, développer et promouvoir l' Economie Sociale et Solidaire. Elle est l'interlocutrice privilégiée des collectivités qui s'engagent en faveur du développement de l'ESS dans les territoires.
Elle rassemble les associations, les coopératives, les mutuelles, les fondations et les entreprises commerciales de l'ESS : toutes les structures qui choisissent d'entreprendre en intégrant dans leur fonctionnement des principes de démocratie, de lucrativité limitée, de partage et de solidarité.
La CRESS représente et anime l'ESS en Grand Est, accompagne les dynamiques territoriales, facilite les coopérations multi-acteurs, appuie la création et le développement de projets, développe les achats socialement et écologiquement responsables, facilite l'accès à la commande publique, sensibilise les jeunes à l'ESS, produit des chiffres clés et des indicateurs pour mieux appréhender l'ESS, déploie une dimension européenne de l'ESS à travers des Clubs Europe ESS et contribue à rendre visible l'Economie Sociale et Solidaire.
