By pioneering battery recycling of EVs and industrial batteries, we create a circular solution for end-of-life batteries by producing high quality and sustainable secondary raw materials. At Hydrovolt, a battery can become a battery an infinite number of times. We do this to ensure that no battery is ever wasted through urban mining and recycling driven by our vision of a circular world. Hydrovolt has a shared ownership structure between Norsk Hydro and Northvolt, headquartered in Oslo while operating one of Europe’s largest EV battery recycling plants in Fredrikstad, Norway.
