L’Association Régionale pour l’Intégration (ARI) vise à tout mettre en oeuvre pour promouvoir et faciliter le soutien à l’intégration des personnes en situation de handicap ou en difficulté. Depuis plus de 35 ans, l’ARI s’organise autour du principe de soutien à l’intégration sociale, scolaire, culturelle et professionnelle avec la nécessaire dimension de soins.
L’ARI, c’est aujourd’hui plus de 50 établissements et services en Provence principalement répartis dans les Bouches-du-Rhône, le Vaucluse et les Alpes-de-Haute-Provence avec des centres de consultations pour enfants qui permettent la prévention et le soin, mais aussi des établissements spécialisés pour ceux avec des troubles psychologiques, un handicap mental ou moteur et du polyhandicap. L’association gère également des hôpitaux, comme l’hôpital de jour de Plombières et la Ciotat accueillant par exemple des enfants avec des troubles autistiques. Quant aux adultes, l’ARI dispose de foyers de vie et d’hébergement ainsi que d’établissements et services d’aide par le travail. Avec un effectif d’environ 1400 salariés, l'ARI est principalement financée par l’Agence Régionale de Santé PACA, les Conseils Départementaux et l'Etat.
L’association accueille aujourd’hui plus de 7000 personnes en situation de handicap ou en difficulté.
