Dumarey Powerglide Strasbourg benefits from more than 50 years of expertise in the design, development and production of automatic transmissions. Dumarey Powerglide Strasbourg’s product portfolio includes reducers for eAxles and high-precision mechanical components (gears & shafts, housings) for the automotive sector. Its Technical Center also provides engineering services in the areas of testing, software programming, calibration and NVH analysis. Among the key customers are OEMs such as GM, BMW, Stellantis, SAIC or Changan as well as tier one suppliers such as ZF, Marelli Electric Powertrain and Nidec PSA E-Motors.
The site is located in the North-East of France, in Strasbourg, just next to the German border and employs more than 700 people with a turnover of close to 500 M€.
Founded in 1967 as General Motors Strasbourg, it became Dumarey Powerglide Strasbourg in 2013, when the Dumarey Group acquired the company.
