Unité mixte de recherche du CNRS et de l'Université de Lorraine, notre laboratoire de recherche situé à Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy, couvre le champ des ressources géologiques, de leur exploration à leur exploitation, en passant par les étapes du traitement et de la valorisation, et de ses impacts sur la société et l'environnement.
Les recherches du laboratoire se structurent autour de 3 axes de recherche : "Mécanique, Géomodélisation et Risques", "Cycle des Ressources Minérales" et "Réservoirs pour les ressources énergétiques primaires et le stockage".

L’UMR GeoRessources est membre de l’OSU OTELo, de l’Institut Carnot ICEEL, du Labex Ressources21 et de l’IEED GéoDénergies.
GeoRessources bénéficie de nombreux partenaires industriels et académiques nationaux et internationaux.
Créé en 2013, notre laboratoire a fêté ses 10 ans il y a peu de temps.
