La Maison de l’Environnement de la Métropole de Lyon rassemble une cinquantaine d’associations et de membres partenaires œuvrant pour la transition écologique sur le territoire de la métropole de Lyon.
Installée depuis 2017 entre le Musée des Confluences et la Halle Tony Garnier, la Maison de l’Environnement accueille plus de 20 000 visiteurs et visiteuses sur l’année.
Depuis 1994, elle accompagne la transition écologique des différents acteurs du territoire : citoyens et citoyennes, collectivités, établissements scolaires, entreprises, associations...
La Maison de l’environnement développe des actions dans deux grandes directions :
1 - Accompagner les citoyen·ne·s dans la transition écologique
En provoquant les déclics pour donner envie de relever les défis de la transition
En accompagnant les passages à l’action et les évolutions de mode de vie
En accueillant et en orientant les différents publics
En rendant accessible la culture environnementale au plus grand nombre
2 - Accompagner et renforcer les acteurs associatifs de la transition
En mutualisant des moyens d’actions entre acteurs associatifs
En apportant une visibilité aux associations membres, à leurs actions et à leurs savoir-faire
En développant les synergies et les projets communs
