Nos missions :
Recherche : Que ce soit en France ou à l'international, les programmes de recherche retenus visent à améliorer les connaissances et développer des synergies pluridisciplinaires entre équipes de recherche. Cela se traduit par l'attribution de bourses de recherche, le financement de programmes spécifiques, l'animation d'un espace de recherche collaboratif (notamment l'Institut de Psychiatrie).
Prévention : Pour les aider à mieux gérer leur santé mentale et celle de leurs proches, en amont (prévention) comme en aval (vivre avec), la Fondation met des outils d'information à la disposition des citoyens. Elle est présente sur des salons et des manifestations (Mad Days, Semaines d'information sur la santé mentale, salon de la dépression...), met en place des outils ou des programmes d'information et noue des partenariats avec des associations de patients, de familles, d'étudiants pour permettre l'accès de tous à l'information sur la santé mentale.
Parce que les déséquilibres psychiques font peur accentuant la souffrance des familles et des patients, retardant souvent leur prise en charge. La Fondation lutte pour modifier le regard de la société sur les troubles mentaux.
