Binogi is driven by the vision that every individual student should succeed in school. That is why we have developed a multilingual digital learning material with short, animated films whose content covers the curriculum for upper secondary school. Students watch the films on a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Each film also includes a quiz so that teachers can follow up and check learning.
The films' storytelling captures the students so that they want to watch the film to the end. Each lesson is knowledge-intensive, but written in a way that ensures that the student is not overwhelmed by new information and new terms. The language is easily accessible even for students with weak Swedish, which makes the films suitable for everyone, while the information-dense but short format means that even students with difficulty can focus.
Young people who have Swedish as a second language can choose to listen to their own mother tongue. While they have the opportunity to absorb the content of the lesson in their strongest language, the films facilitate the learning of Swedish, since the student can choose the combination of languages ââin both audio and subtitles. The speed of the films can also be adjusted, for students who wish to listen at a slower pace.
Together with over 110 Swedish principals and researchers at Stockholm University, Linnaeus University, the University of Toronto, among others, we run the research project SprÄkprojektet. The project aims to continue developing our teaching materials, to give all students the chance to learn at their own pace together with the class.
Binogi is currently available in 15 languages ââand in 13 subjects.

Binogi drivs av visionen att varje enskild elev ska lyckas i skolan. DÀrför har vi utvecklat ett flersprÄkigt digitalt lÀromedel med korta, animerade filmer vars innehÄll tÀcker lÀroplanen för högstadiet. Eleverna ser filmerna pÄ dator, lÀsplatta eller mobiltelefon. Till varje film hör Àven ett quiz sÄ att lÀrare kan följa upp och kontrollera lÀrandet.
Filmernas storytelling fÄngar in eleverna sÄ att de vill se filmen till slutet. Varje lektion Àr kunskapsintensiv, men skriven pÄ ett sÀtt som gör att eleven inte övervÀldigas av ny information och nya termer. SprÄket Àr lÀttillgÀngligt Àven för elever med svag svenska, vilket gör att filmerna passar alla, samtidigt som det informationstÀta men korta formatet gör att Àven elever med svÄrighet kan fokusera.
Ungdomar som har svenska som andrasprĂ„k kan vĂ€lja att lyssna pĂ„ sitt eget modersmĂ„l. Samtidigt som de har möjlighet att ta till sig innehĂ„llet i lektionen pĂ„ sitt starkaste sprĂ„k, underlĂ€ttar filmerna inlĂ€rningen av svenska, eftersom eleven sjĂ€lv kan vĂ€lja kombination av sprĂ„k i bĂ„de ljud och undertext. Ăven hastigheten pĂ„ filmerna gĂ„r att justera, för elever som önskar lyssna i lĂ„ngsammare takt.
Tillsammans med över 110 svenska huvudmÀn och forskare vid bland annat Stockholms Universitet, Linné Universitetet, University of Toronto driver vi forskningsprojektet SprÄkprojektet. Projektet syftar till att fortsatt utveckla vÄrt lÀromedel, för att ge alla elever chansen att lÀra i sin egen takt tillsammans med klassen.
Binogi finns idag pÄ 15 sprÄk och i 13 Àmnen.
