We are an independent charity providing expert care for people facing the challenge of a terminal illness. Every year, we care for over 1,800 patients and their loved ones, offering not just clinical care but also emotional, spiritual and social support in the Hospice and to people who are living with a terminal illness at home or in a care home. It costs £5 million a year to provide our services but less than 20% of our funding comes from the government, so we depend on the generosity of the people of our community to give £4 million every year. …
