La Confederación Española de Directivos y Ejecutivos (CEDE), fundada por la Asociación Española de Directivos (AED) y la Asociación Española de Ejecutivos de Finanzas (AEEF), tiene como objetivo principal agrupar a distintas asociaciones de directivos al objeto de dotarlas de una representación en consonancia con la relevante función que desempeñan en el ámbito socioeconómico, así como estimular sus actividades y coordinar acciones en beneficio de las entidades confederadas y de todos sus socios individuales. Desde su fundación en 1997, se han integrado en la Confederación otras asociaciones de directivos pertenecientes a diversos sectores y ámbitos territoriales.
En la actualidad CEDE agrupa 36 entidades y más de 155.000 directivos, por lo que está alcanzando una representatividad significativa, que continuará incrementándose en el futuro con la incorporaciones de nuevas entidades.
