La Protection Civile Paris Seine est une association loi 1901 affiliée à la FNPC (Fédération Nationale de Protection Civile) reconnue d’utilité publique. Créée en 1997, elle regroupe actuellement plus de 1600 bénévoles, répartis au sein de 41 antennes sur Paris et sa petite couronne.
Ses principaux domaines d’intervention sont :
• les opérations de secours : mise en place de dispositifs de secours et renforcement du service public de secours ;
• la formation aux premiers secours du grand public et la formation professionnelle (DAE, PSC1, PSE1, PSE2, SST, Monitorat PICF PAEFPSC, Passerelle PAE 3 F SST, BNSSA...) ;
• l’action solidaire et sociale : maraudes locales, soutien humanitaire d’exception, accueil des impliqués et hébergement d'urgence à l'occasion de sinistres, d'événements climatiques et autres accidents.
Dans le cadre de ses missions, la Protection Civile de Paris met chaque année en place plusieurs milliers de dispositifs de secours lors d'événements majeurs (Roland Garros, festivités du 14 juillet, 20 Km de Paris, Festival Solidays, Fête de la Saint Sylvestre...).
Elle renforce également les dispositifs du SAMU et de la Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris (BSPP) pour le service de secours public.
