Its role is to provide concrete solutions to all stakeholders in the construction and housing sector: builders, developers, manufacturers, craftsmen, etc. with a threefold vision:

    To meet this challenge, Tipee is organized around different activities:

    • A Multi-scale Laboratory that develops testing methods for the characterization of materials, envelopes and the quality of interior environments, in particular scale 1 testing methods (test facades and Eurêka house) and others accredited by COFRAC
    • An Engineering and Research center that offers support services for innovation approaches (including CSTB evaluation procedures), Research & Development and design assistance (AMO, simulations, studies)
    • A Continuing Education Center that develops theoretical (in-class), practical (on a technical platform), distance (MOOC) and mixed (blended learning) training courses, aimed at all construction stakeholders (from project owners to craftsmen), on the themes of the energy, environmental and digital transition of buildings.

    Tipee est un centre d’expertise spécialisé dans le bâtiment durable, implanté au cœur du parc bas carbone Atlantech à Lagord (17), et labellisé par le Plan Bâtiment Durable. Son rôle est d’apporter des solutions concrètes à tous les acteurs de la filière du bâtiment, de l’habitat : constructeurs, promoteurs, fabricants, artisans... avec une triple vision :

    • Utile pour l’entreprise qui conçoit, fabrique ou construit
    • Engagée pour un véritable respect des logiques environnementales
    • Avec un souci permanent de l’utilisateur final et de son bien vivre

    Pour y répondre Tipee est organisée autour de différentes activités :

    • Un Laboratoire Multi-échelle qui développe des moyens d’essais autour de la caractérisation des matériaux, des enveloppes et la qualité des environnements intérieurs, en particulier des moyens d’essais échelle 1 (façades tests et maison Eurêka) et d’autres accrédités COFRAC
    • Un pôle Ingénierie et Recherche qui offre des services d’accompagnement aux démarches d’innovation (dont procédures d’évaluation CSTB), de Recherche & Développement et d’aide à la conception (AMO, simulations, études)
    • Un Centre de formation continue qui développe des formations théoriques (en salle), pratiques (sur plateau technique), à distance (MOOC) et mixte (blended learning), à destination de l’ensemble des acteurs de la construction (de la maîtrise d’ouvrage à l’artisan), sur les thématiques de la transition énergétique, environnementale et numérique du bâtiment.
