EARA is a European organisation that communicates & advocates in support of biomedical research using animals.

The European Animal Research Association (EARA) is a communications and advocacy organisation whose mission is to uphold the interests of biomedical research and healthcare development across Europe.

EARA was established to inform the European public on the continued need for, and benefit of, the humane use of animals in biomedical research; and to lead a co-ordinated response to the pressure on the laboratory animal supply chain and the licence to use laboratory animals in research. EARA seeks to provide support, advocacy and reliable communication on behalf of public and private researchers at both national and European levels.
